Share one keyboard, mouse and DisplayPort monitor between two computers at 3840×2160 60 Hz with front-button or remote switching
The Vszerda switch lets you drive one DisplayPort monitor, keyboard and mouse from two source computers. It accepts two DP video inputs and two USB 2.0 upstream links, then presents a single DP output plus three USB 2.0 downstream ports for peripherals. Windows, Linux, macOS and DOS systems are all supported without driver installation. The package includes the switch, two DP cables, two USB cables and a wired desktop remote.
Because the unit routes DisplayPort signals electrically without active signal processing, it adds no measurable thermal load and runs completely silent. Power is drawn only from the connected USB 2.0 ports, so there is no external power brick and no fan. LED indicators on the front panel show which computer is currently active, giving instant visual confirmation without software overhead.
You need two source machines with DisplayPort outputs and available USB 2.0 ports, plus one DisplayPort monitor. The three downstream USB 2.0 ports free up the monitor’s own hub or the PC’s rear I/O for a printer, flash drive or other accessory. Hot-key switching is not supported, so users who rely on keyboard shortcuts for rapid toggling should plan to use the button or wired remote instead.

Plug each PC's DP and USB cables into the matching input ports on the switch, then connect your monitor to the single DP output and peripherals to the three USB 2.0 outputs; the step often missed is ensuring both DP and USB cables from the same PC go to the same numbered port pair.
The two supplied DP KVM cables and two USB cables are passive copper links; they only need replacement if the connectors wear or the cables are physically damaged, and the desktop controller runs on a standard button cell that should be swapped when the LED dims.
The switch is rated for 3840×2160@60Hz on its single DP output, so sustained use at that resolution is within spec; the first practical limit is the USB 2.0 bandwidth shared across the three downstream ports when high-throughput devices are active simultaneously.
