Purpose and audience

The Vszerda 2D to 3D HDMI Converter adds stereoscopic depth to standard video sources for projection setups. It accepts 2D, side-by-side, top-and-bottom, line-alternating and Blu-ray 3D signals and outputs a 720p 120 Hz frame-sequential stream suitable for DLP-Link projectors and 3D-ready televisions.

Fit and limits

Home cinema enthusiasts who own a 720p 120 Hz DLP projector and want to watch legacy 2D films or mixed 3D formats in stereo will benefit. Viewers needing 1080p or 4K 3D output, HDR pass-through, or HDMI 2.0 bandwidth should look elsewhere because the converter tops out at 720p 120 Hz and HDMI 1.4a.

Included extras

A handheld infrared remote lets the user switch between 2D-to-3D conversion, format selection and pass-through modes without reaching the unit. Three adjustable depth levels (strong, medium, weak) apply only to the 2D-to-3D DLP mode, while other format conversions remain fixed. The EU power adapter enables immediate use in European sockets.
