SKU CH-30QR-AQ7YG

Routes two HDMI sources to two displays independently or duplicates one source on both screens at 4K 60 Hz with HDR and 7.1 audio

  • True 2×2 matrix routes any source to either display independently
  • 4K 60 Hz video with 18 Gbps bandwidth and HDR support
  • HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4/2.2 compliant for protected content
  • IR remote gives instant source switching from across the room
  • 1-channel LPCM, Dolby and DTS audio pass-through included

Matrix configuration

This 2x2 HDMI matrix switch connects two source devices to two displays and routes any input to either output independently. It also functions as a splitter to mirror one source across both screens simultaneously. The unit is designed for home theatre, conference rooms, education spaces and commercial installations.

Bandwidth and protocol limits

Video bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps with a TMDS clock up to 600 MHz, supporting resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with YUV 4:2:0 colour sampling. The HDMI 2.0 interface carries HDCP 1.4 protection and handles deep colour at 8, 10, 12, 24, 32 and 48 bit. Audio passes through as LPCM, Dolby or DTS up to 7.1 channels.

Upgrade context

It replaces a basic 2-port switch or a simple 1x2 splitter when independent routing or simultaneous distribution is required. The jump is worth it when a single operator must send different sources to separate displays or duplicate content across two screens without adding extra cabling or converters.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2x2 matrix or a simple 2x1 switch for two sources and two displays?

The 2x2 matrix lets you route either source to either display independently, and can also mirror one source to both displays simultaneously.

What does 4K@60Hz 18Gbps mean for my actual video quality?

It delivers full 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with YUV 4:2:0 colour, HDR for 2K content, 3D support and up to 12-bit deep colour per channel.

Which HDMI version and HDCP level does this matrix use, and what does that limit?

It uses HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 1.4, capping protected 4K streams to 60 Hz 4:2:0 and preventing HDCP 2.2-only sources from passing protected content.
