4K HDMI Splitter 1x2

The Vszerda 4K HDMI Splitter 1x2 takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it to two displays at the same time. It supports video formats up to 3860x2160p at 30 Hz and handles 3D content. The metal case houses a powered circuit that buffers and amplifies the signal for longer cable runs. It is suited for installers, retailers, or home users who need identical output on two screens.

Included Power Adapter

The unit ships with an external power adapter that drives the internal amplification stage. This allows the splitter to maintain signal integrity over extended distances without drawing power from the source device. No software drivers are required; the device operates on a plug-and-play basis. The powered design ensures stable operation with a wide range of source equipment.

Video Capacity and Limits

Maximum single-link resolution reaches 3860x2160p at 30 Hz with a 5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling. Supported formats include 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 2160p, and 3D. Deep colour is available at 30, 36, and 48 bits per pixel. Audio passes through DST-HD, Dolby True HD, LPCM 7.1, DTS, Dolby-AC3, and DSD. HDCP 1.0 through 1.3 is supported. The splitter cannot process 4K at 60 Hz or higher refresh rates, and it does not downscale the signal for mismatched displays.

Questions about this item

Will the external power adapter need replacing if I run the splitter continuously?

The unit ships with an external power adapter; it has no user-replaceable parts, so the adapter itself is the only component that could require replacement after extended use.

What resolution ceiling hits first when I push the splitter with long cables at 4K?

The splitter tops out at 3860x2160p at 30 Hz with a 5 Gbps bandwidth limit, so that resolution and refresh rate is the first ceiling you reach.

How warm does the metal case get and does it add audible noise when powered all day?

The aluminium enclosure is passively cooled and contains no fan, so it runs silently and warm to the touch but within normal operating temperature for continuous use.
