What the 4x2 HDMI matrix does
The Vszerda 4x2 HDMI matrix switch routes up to four HDMI sources to two displays. It suits home-theatre owners, meeting-room installers and educators who need to share or duplicate 4K content across two screens.
Practical limits of the HDMI 2.0b interface
The switch passes 4K at 60 Hz with 18.5 Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2. Ultra-wide 3440x1440 is not supported and may cause compatibility issues. Dolby Atmos 7.1 is available only on output A, while LPCM and DTS 5.1 work on both outputs.
Installation and common pitfalls
Power and all HDMI ports sit on the same edge for tidy cabling. The unit is plug-and-play with automatic equalisation, but ultra-wide resolutions should be avoided. IR remote control handles source selection when front-panel access is inconvenient.

Questions about this item
Should I pick a 4x2 matrix or a simpler 2x1 switch for my four sources and two displays?
The 4x2 matrix lets you route any of the four sources to either display independently, while a 2x1 switch only toggles between two inputs on one screen.
What does 18.5 Gbps mean when I plug in a 4K@60 Hz source?
It is the maximum TMDS bandwidth the switch can pass, enough for 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with 8-bit colour, but not for ultra-wide 3440x1440.
Does the HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 spec limit HDR or 4K@60 Hz in any way?
HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2 supports 4K@60 Hz, HDR10 and 8/10/12-bit deep colour; Dolby Atmos 7.1 is only available on Output A.
