Connects compatible Corsair modular PSUs to three Molex devices using 18 AWG copper wire with 20 in main and 6 in branch lengths
This adapter connects compatible Corsair modular power supplies to devices that require 4-pin Molex power. It carries a single 6-pin male plug on the PSU side and three Molex female connectors spaced along the cable run. The wiring uses 18AWG tin-coated copper conductors and includes a self-adhesive tape strip for securing excess length. It is intended for builders adding mechanical drives or riser cards to a supported Corsair unit.
The 18AWG copper conductors handle the current demanded by typical hard drives or riser cards without excessive voltage drop across the 50-centimetre main lead. Because the cable is passive, it adds no active cooling requirement and generates no audible noise during normal operation. Power draw is determined entirely by the attached devices and the PSU’s own regulation. The supplier notes that connecting more than two riser cards on one cable risks damage, so loading should stay within that limit.
Each connector is moulded in black with a male-to-female gender arrangement that matches the listed Corsair RM, RMX, RMi, HX, HXi, AX, AXi, SF, TX, CS and CX series — excluding AX1200, AX750 and AX850 models. The daisy-chain layout places the secondary and tertiary Molex plugs 15 centimetres apart, which helps route power to drives mounted in adjacent bays. The fixed pinout means the cable cannot be repurposed for non-Corsair units or for SATA devices without a separate adapter.

Plug the 6-pin male connector only into a compatible Corsair modular port listed for RM series; the cable is keyed for that pinout so forcing it into an incompatible PSU will burn the drive.
The 1007-18AWG tin-coated copper wire is rated for continuous load, but the supplier notes no guarantee for mining; inspect connectors for discoloration every few months and replace the whole cable if any melting appears.
The cable is designed for a maximum of two riser cards; connecting three exceeds the 18AWG capacity and will cause overheating or damage regardless of the 50 cm main run.
