What this cable delivers

The Vszerda DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 8K video at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz over a 6.6 foot braided run. It is built for gamers and creators who need high refresh rates and HDR colour from a single DP-to-DP link.

Bandwidth ceiling and backward limits

The 32.4 Gbps HBR3 pipe is the hard ceiling; anything above 8K 60 Hz 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 requires compression or a newer standard. The cable falls back to DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0, so older ports work but only at their native speeds.

The spec that decides fit

If your source and sink both support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC 1.2, you unlock the full 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz path; without DSC 1.2 on both ends the link drops to lower resolutions or refresh rates.

Questions about this item

Which length should I choose for my setup?

This cable is 6.6 feet long. Measure the distance between your graphics card and monitor, then add slack for routing behind furniture or through cable-management channels.

What does 32.4 Gbps actually deliver on my monitor?

32.4 Gbps enables 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 1080p at 240 Hz with 10-bit colour, HDR and DSC 1.2 compression over a single DisplayPort 1.4 link.

Does the DisplayPort 1.4 interface limit refresh rate or resolution?

The DP 1.4 HBR3 link caps at 32.4 Gbps, so 8K is limited to 60 Hz, 4K to 144 Hz and 1080p to 240 Hz; higher rates would need DP 2.0 or compression beyond DSC 1.2.
