RCA Y-Splitter for Audio Systems

The Vszerda CA-038-HX adapts a single RCA output into two female ports, letting you feed a stereo amplifier or powered subwoofer from one source jack. It suits installers who need a compact, right-angled breakout behind a television or rack-mounted AV receiver.

Right-Angle Gold-Plated Connectors

The 90-degree angled male plug hugs the panel, reducing cable strain in tight cavities and freeing vertical space behind equipment. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation, maintaining clean signal transfer without requiring additional adapters or soldering.

Splits One Source to Two Inputs

This passive splitter cleanly duplicates a line-level signal for left and right channels, handling typical consumer audio voltages. It does not amplify or buffer, so very long cable runs or professional balanced lines will need an active distribution unit instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 90° angled male plug clear tight spaces behind a TV or amplifier?

The 90° angled male RCA plug is designed to fit in confined areas behind equipment, reducing strain on the connection.

Does the gold-plated connector add audible noise or heat during continuous use?

Gold-plated RCA contacts resist corrosion and maintain low resistance; the passive splitter generates no heat or electrical noise.

Must the source device and the amplifier both have female RCA ports for this Y-splitter to work?

Yes — the single male RCA plug inserts into a female output on the source, while the two female RCA jacks accept male cables from the amplifier or subwoofer.
