Vszerda Cat 7 Flat Ethernet Cable

This 2-metre Cat 7 flat cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbps with a 600 MHz bandwidth. It uses 100% bare copper conductors in a 4-pair SSTP structure. The gold-plated RJ45 connectors include molded strain-relief boots and snagless moulds for a secure connection. It suits gaming consoles, PCs, routers, switches, NAS devices and VoIP phones needing high-speed wired links.

Installation and Common Issues

The flat profile lets the cable slide under carpets or run flush against walls without tangling. Multi-strand 32 AWG conductors keep it flexible for tight routing around corners or through door frames. Snagless moulds protect the latch during repeated insertion and removal. The main limitation is the fixed 2-metre length; runs that exceed this distance require a coupler or a longer cable.

Cat 7 Practical Limits

Cat 7 specifications support 10 Gigabit per second over 100 metres, but this cable is only 2 metres long. The 32 AWG gauge and flat geometry prioritise flexibility over maximum segment distance. Shielded SSTP construction reduces alien crosstalk, yet overall channel performance still depends on the quality of the connected ports and any intermediate patch panels. Buyers needing runs longer than the supplied length must source additional cable or couplers separately.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the cable is delivering 10 Gigabit speeds after I plug it in?

Run a local network speed test between two devices that both support 10000Mbps; a sustained result near that figure shows the 600MHz bandwidth and 100% bare copper conductors are performing as specified.

What comes in the package and do I need any extra adapters for my Xbox One or router?

The box contains the 2M flat Cat 7 patch cord with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends; no additional adapters are required for Xbox One, PS4, modems, routers, switches or any listed device.

Should I choose the 2M length or a longer version for running under carpet to my gaming setup?

The 2M (6.6ft) flat SSTP cable is designed to slip under carpet and along walls without tangling; pick a longer version only if the measured path between your devices exceeds 2M.
