Flat Cat 7 cable for 10 Gigabit networks

This flat Cat 7 ethernet cable runs 10 metres and supports data rates up to 10000 Mbps with a 600 MHz bandwidth. It uses 32 AWG bare copper conductors in a four-pair SSTP construction. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with moulded strain-relief boots complete the link.

Installation and common issues

The flat profile slips under carpets and along skirting boards without tangling. Snagless moulds protect the release tab during repeated insertions. Thin 32 AWG strands make tight bends easy but can kink if pulled sharply around corners. Gold contacts resist corrosion yet still need a firm push to seat fully.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for gamers and streamers who want a discreet 10 Gigabit run to a console, PC or router. Suits renters needing a removable cable that hides under flooring. Not for installers who require solid-core cable for structured wiring in walls. Buyers needing longer permanent links should consider bulk solid-core alternatives.
