Vszerda Cat 8 Flat Braided Cable

This 10 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable delivers 40Gbps data transmission and 2000MHz bandwidth for demanding network tasks. It uses 26AWG copper conductors arranged in four shielded foiled twisted pairs with an aluminum foil layer. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact with routers, modems, consoles and PCs. The cotton braided jacket adds durability and flexibility for daily use.

Flat Design Simplifies Cable Routing

The thin, flat profile lets you run the cord under carpets, along baseboards or through tight gaps without bulk. This shape reduces tripping hazards and keeps installations tidy in home or office environments. Heavy S/FTP shielding protects the signal from crosstalk and external interference across the full length. Backward compatibility with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 equipment means it fits existing ports immediately.

Upgrade From Older Category Cables

Replacing Cat5e or Cat6 links with this Cat 8 cable raises the bandwidth ceiling to 2000MHz and 40Gbps, removing the cable as a bottleneck for high-speed internet plans. The jump matters when your router, modem and network adapters already support multi-gigabit rates. Buyers whose hardware tops out at 1Gbps will not see a throughput gain from this cable alone.

Questions about this item

Will the 26AWG conductors limit throughput during sustained 40Gbps transfers?

The cable is rated for 40Gbps at 2000MHz bandwidth using four shielded twisted pairs, so the 26AWG gauge supports the specified speed under continuous load.

Does the flat braided jacket affect heat dissipation or signal integrity during all-day use?

The cotton braided wrap adds durability and flexibility without changing the S/FTP shielding that prevents crosstalk, so heat and signal quality remain within Cat 8 limits.

What devices must already have RJ45 ports for this cable to work?

Any equipment with an RJ45 jack — routers, modems, PCs, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, smart TVs or network printers — will connect directly.
