Vszerda Cat 8 Network Ethernet Cable 26AWG Flat Braided 40Gbps 2000MHz 16.4 ft

SKU CH-ME5R-KXQ27

Flat braided Cat 8 cable delivers 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ45 connectors over 16.4 ft

  • Overall length16.4 ft (5 m)
  • 40 Gbps bandwidth handles 4K streaming and cloud gaming
  • 2000 MHz frequency reduces lag for competitive play
  • S/FTP shielding with aluminium foil cuts crosstalk
  • 24 k gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion
  • 4 ft flat braided cable routes cleanly under carpets

High-Speed Flat Cat 8 Cable

This 16.4 ft Vszerda Cat 8 cable uses 26AWG conductors and a flat braided jacket to deliver 40Gbps throughput at 2000MHz bandwidth. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors and S/FTP shielding protect the signal across the full length. The slim profile suits tight routing behind furniture or along skirting boards. It arrives new and ready for immediate installation.

Home And Office Networks Needing 40Gbps Headroom

Gamers, streamers and remote workers who want maximum wired throughput for a PS5, PC, router or switch will benefit from the 2000MHz rating. Builders running cable through conduit or round-hole cutouts should consider a traditional round cable instead. Users whose devices only support slower Ethernet standards will not gain extra speed from the higher specification.

40Gbps At 2000MHz Over 16.4 ft

The decisive figure is the 40Gbps data rate supported at 2000MHz across the full 16.4 ft run. If your router, network card or ISP link tops out below that ceiling, the cable will still work but the extra bandwidth stays unused. Match the cable to hardware that can negotiate the full Cat 8 rate to realise the rated performance.

Questions about this item

How do I route the 16.4 ft flat braided cable without damaging the 26AWG conductors?

Lay the flat cable along baseboards or under carpet edges; avoid tight bends that could kink the 26AWG wires and do not staple through the cotton braid.

Will the 24k gold-plated RJ45 contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

Gold plating resists oxidation, so the contacts should not require cleaning; replace the cable only if the aluminium connector housing cracks or the braid frays.

What limits the 40Gbps throughput during sustained heavy transfers?

The 2000MHz bandwidth rating and S/FTP shielding set the cable’s ceiling; actual sustained speed will be capped by the router, modem or network card that connects to the RJ45 plugs.
