SKU CH-E7C0-NPGY5

Flat SFTP cable supports 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz with 50 µm gold RJ45 contacts

  • 40 Gbps data speed backed by 2000 MHz bandwidth
  • 50 µm gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion
  • SFTP shielding with 26 AWG copper reduces crosstalk
  • Flat PVC jacket eases routing along walls and under carpets
  • 10 ft length suits indoor and outdoor installations

10ft CAT8 SFTP flat cable

This 10ft CAT8 shielded twisted-pair cable supports bandwidth up to 2000MHz and data rates up to 40Gbps. It suits gamers, streamers and home-office users who need a low-latency wired link between a router, modem, PC, switch or console.

Flat profile for tight routing

The flat jacket lets the cable run along baseboards, under carpets or around corners without bulging. SFTP shielding with 26AWG copper pairs reduces crosstalk and external noise, freeing the installer from bulky conduit while keeping the signal clean over the full run.

Sustained throughput under load

Gold-plated RJ45 contacts rated at 50 microns resist corrosion during continuous high-speed transfers. The PVC jacket is rated water-proof and UV-proof, so attenuation stays low even when the cable carries heavy traffic for long periods in indoor or outdoor environments.

Questions about this item

Does the 2000 MHz bandwidth hold up over the full 10 ft length?

The cable is rated for 2000 MHz bandwidth across its 10 ft run, with shielded twisted pairs and gold-plated contacts designed to minimise signal loss.

How much heat or noise does the cable produce during continuous 40 Gbps transfers?

Passive copper cables generate no audible noise and negligible heat; the PVC jacket is rated for UV and water resistance rather than thermal limits.

What devices must I already have to use the 50 µm gold RJ45 connectors at 40 Gbps?

Both ends need equipment with RJ45 ports that support 40 Gbps operation, such as compatible routers, switches, PCs or consoles.
