32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 cable for 8K workflows

This Vszerda DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers 32.4 Gbps bandwidth with HBR3 support, DSC 1.2 compression and forward error correction. It connects graphics cards such as the RTX 3070, RTX 3080, RTX 3090 and Radeon 6800 or 6900 to 8K or high-refresh monitors at 6.6 feet.

Sustained 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz signal integrity

The cable maintains 8K resolution at 60 Hz with 10-bit colour and dynamic HDR over its full length without drop-outs. It also handles 4K at 120 Hz natively and up to 240 Hz with DSC, plus 2K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz for extended gaming sessions.

Gold-plated connectors, foil and braid shielding.

Bare copper conductors and individual wire insulation combine with foil and braid shielding to reject interference during long runs. Gold-plated plugs resist corrosion and a latch with a release button secures the connection while preventing port damage on disconnect.

Questions about this item

Does the cable generate noticeable heat or draw extra power when driving an 8K 60 Hz signal all day?

No, the cable is a passive copper link that carries the 32.4 Gbps signal without active components, so it adds no measurable heat or power draw to your setup.

My monitor only has HDMI — what else do I need to use this DisplayPort 1.4 cable?

You would need an active DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter that supports the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth, because this cable has DisplayPort connectors on both ends.

Will the latch connectors work reliably with my older DisplayPort 1.2 graphics card and monitor?

Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 and 1.3, and the latch releases cleanly when you press the button on either end.
