Splits one DisplayPort 1.4 source into HDMI and DisplayPort outputs supporting 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, and 1440p at up to 165 Hz
This DisplayPort 1.4 MST splitter connects two monitors to a single DisplayPort output using Multi-Stream Transport. It accepts a DisplayPort 1.4 source and provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort output for simultaneous dual-display operation without switching.
The hub supports 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz or 60 Hz. It also handles 1440p at 165 Hz, 144 Hz, 120 Hz and 60 Hz, though 165 Hz and 144 Hz are not available on the HDMI output. Bandwidth limits apply when both displays run at their highest rates together.
The splitter requires a host with DisplayPort 1.4 MST capability to drive two independent screens. It is suited for digital signage, conference rooms and multi-monitor desktops where extending or mirroring across an HDMI and a DisplayPort monitor is needed. It does not support single-stream-only sources for dual independent displays.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The HDMI output does not support 1440p at 144 Hz; it supports 1440p up to 60 Hz only. Use the DisplayPort output for 1440p at 144 Hz or 165 Hz.
Open your operating system display settings and verify two separate monitors appear; drag a window across the boundary to confirm the desktop spans both displays.
The box contains only the MST splitter unit; you must supply a DisplayPort 1.4 cable for the host connection and an HDMI cable plus a DisplayPort cable for the two monitors.
