Splits a DisplayPort 1.4 signal into one DisplayPort and one HDMI 2.1 output for dual 4K@60 Hz or 8K@30 Hz displays
The Vszerda MST hub splits one DisplayPort 1.4 source into simultaneous DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1 outputs for dual-monitor setups. It supports SST mirror mode for identical content and MST extended mode for independent desktops. A USB power cable is included for stable operation with laptops and desktops.
This suits users who need two different screens driven from a single DP 1.4 port on a Windows or Linux system with MST-capable graphics. Mac OS does not support the MST function so extended desktops are not possible on that platform. Buyers who only need a single display or lack MST support in their GPU should consider a simple adapter instead.
The splitter delivers dual 4K at 60 Hz or 5K at 60 Hz plus 1080p at 60 Hz when both ports are active. Single-display limits reach 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz on DisplayPort and 4K at 122 Hz on HDMI. The actual ceiling depends on the host GPU, cable quality and monitor capabilities.

This model supports dual 4K at 60 Hz from a single DP 1.4 input, matching the listed dual-display specification for two different screens in MST mode.
With one display on the DP output you can reach 8K at 30 Hz, while the HDMI output also delivers 8K at 30 Hz; both drop to 4K at 60 Hz or 144 Hz on a single screen.
The DP 1.4 input caps total bandwidth so dual displays run at 4K 60 Hz maximum, while a single HDMI 2.1 display reaches 4K 122 Hz or 2K 144 Hz.
