Signal Conversion

The Vszerda HD 3G SDI to AV CVBS Converter translates professional SDI signals into standard composite video with stereo audio. It is built for installers and broadcasters who need to display SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI sources on legacy televisions or recording equipment. The unit includes a loop-through SDI output and a 5 V to 12 V DC power adapter.

Supported SDI Standards

The converter accepts 3G-SDI at 2.970 Gbit/s per SMPTE 424M, HD-SDI per SMPTE 292M and SD-SDI signals. A selector switch chooses the output format. The SDI loop output passes the original signal onward for monitoring or distribution.

Output Resolution Limits

AV output is restricted to 480i, 576i, 480P and 576P composite formats. The device does not support 1080P or other high-definition resolutions on the CVBS port. Buyers who need high-definition analogue output or digital HDMI conversion should consider a different class of converter.
