This Vszerda adapter converts an HDMI source into Component YPbPr or RGB video plus stereo analogue audio through 5 RCA connectors. It is aimed at owners of legacy displays, projectors or capture gear that lack an HDMI input but still accept component signals up to 1080p.

Plug-and-play with resolution switch

The unit ships with a component cable, stereo audio cable and a US power adapter so no extra purchases are required. A button on the housing cycles through supported output modes; the only common issue is forgetting to match the output setting to the display’s native resolution, which can result in no picture or an out-of-range message.

Handles 480p through 1080p at 50 or 60 Hz

The built-in scaler accepts HDMI inputs at 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i or 1080p at both 50 and 60 Hz, then outputs the same set of component resolutions. It cannot pass 4K, HDR or multichannel audio, and it will not work with displays that only accept composite or S-Video signals.
