The Vszerda HDMI to Male AV/S Video Adapter converts an HDMI source to composite or S-Video plus stereo audio. It accepts input resolutions of 480p at 60Hz, 576p at 50Hz, 720p at 50Hz or 60Hz, 1080i at 50Hz or 60Hz, and 1080p at 50Hz or 60Hz. Output video systems are selectable between PAL and NTSC. The unit is intended for connecting modern HDMI devices to legacy CRT televisions or AV test equipment.

Behaviour under sustained load

The converter operates as a resolution pass-through device with no user-configurable settings. A switch on the unit selects either composite video or S-Video output, but not both simultaneously. Power and signal LED indicators show active status during continuous operation. An external AC adapter supplies power, so the adapter does not draw current from the HDMI source.

The compact enclosure weighs 0.111 kilograms and relies on passive cooling with no internal fan. No audible noise is produced during normal use.
