Converts an M.2 NGFF Key A-E slot into two USB 2.0 ports
This adapter converts an M.2 NGFF Key A-E slot into two USB 2.0 ports for expansion cards such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules. It suits builders adding wireless connectivity to a system that lacks spare USB headers. The cable design allows flexible placement inside the chassis. No driver installation is required for the adapter itself.
Insert the M.2 connector into the Key A-E slot and secure it with the board screw, then plug the USB headers into the motherboard. The main issue is mistaking Key M or Key B slots for Key A-E, which prevents the card from seating. Verify the slot keying before purchase to avoid fitment problems.

The system should recognise the adapter and display two additional USB 2.0 ports in Device Manager or lsusb, allowing devices plugged into them to enumerate normally.
The package includes the M.2 NGFF Key A-E to dual USB 2.0 riser cable adapter; M.2 mounting screws and any USB peripherals are not supplied and must be obtained separately.
