Converts M.2 NVMe SSDs to EDSFF E1.S format with PCIe 4.0/3.0 x4 support for 2230-2280 drives in 1U server chassis
The Vszerda adapter converts an M-key NVMe SSD into the EDSFF E1.S form factor for 1U server chassis. It operates over PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 x4 lanes and accepts module lengths of 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280.
The card does not support modules longer than 2280, so deployments requiring larger form factors will need a different solution. It also provides no protocol conversion, so drives using other interfaces cannot be used.

No published specifications for this item yet.
Yes, the adapter is compatible with PCIe 3.0 x4 and will operate at that speed when installed in a PCIe 3.0 slot.
The SSD should appear in the system BIOS or UEFI firmware and be visible to the operating system once the M.2 NVMe drive is seated and the adapter is installed in the E1.S bay.
