NVMe to Oculink Adapter

The Vszerda adapter connects a single M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD to a host through an SFF-8611 or SFF-8612 Oculink interface. It accepts drives in 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 lengths. The card is designed for internal installation and targets builders adding high-speed storage to compatible mainboards or controllers.

PCIe 3.0 x4 Interface Limit

The adapter operates over a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, so maximum throughput is capped by that generation and lane count. It does not translate NVMe to SATA, nor does it convert NGFF or SATA M.2 drives to Oculink. SAS and Slimline SAS devices are not supported, so the link remains strictly PCIe-based.

Supported Drive Lengths and Exclusions

The board physically accommodates M.2 modules from 2230 up to 22110 millimetres, giving flexibility for common SSD sizes. It cannot host SATA-based M.2 drives, nor can it bridge to SAS or Slimline SAS targets. Builders needing SATA connectivity or multi-drive aggregation must use a different solution.
