Converts a SATA NGFF B+M key SSD to an NVME M-key slot for desktop motherboards using a JMB582 chipset
The Vszerda adapter lets you install a SATA NGFF B+M key SSD into a desktop motherboard PCI-E NVME M-key slot. It accepts drive lengths 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280, so owners of older SATA M.2 modules can reuse them on newer platforms.
The on-board JMB582 controller bridges the SATA signal to the NVME host interface without adding proprietary software. The 22 by 110 mm PCBA sits at a 6 mm profile, which clears standard desktop M-key sockets but prevents fitment in laptop M-key slots.
Builders migrating a SATA NGFF drive to a desktop M-key slot will find this card a direct fit. It does not convert PCIe NVMe drives, nor does it work in laptop M-key sockets, so buyers needing those configurations should look elsewhere.

The JMB582 bridge chip is a fixed hardware component with no user-serviceable firmware; the adapter itself has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance.
The board accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors; the 110 mm length stops short of a 22110 drive.
The JMB582 bridge draws very little power and the bare 22 by 110 mm PCB dissipates heat passively; no active cooling is required.
