Adds an M-key NVME SSD to a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot with 3 cm low-profile height for 1U servers
This Vszerda adapter lets you install an M-key NVMe SSD into a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot using a low-profile bracket only three centimetres tall. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 form factors and draws 12 V at three amperes or 5 V at 4.5 amperes directly from the slot. The board is transparent to the operating system and needs no driver installation.
Builders fitting storage into a 1U chassis with a Z97 motherboard and Windows 10 or later will find the height and power delivery match their constraints. The adapter only works with M-key NVMe or AHCI SSDs, so buyers who have B-key or B/M-key SATA modules must choose a different solution. Systems lacking a PCIe 3.0 x16, x8 or x4 slot cannot use this card.
The included low-profile bracket enables mounting in 1U enclosures where a standard bracket would not fit. On-board voltage regulation supplies the SSD without an external power cable, simplifying cable routing in dense server chassis. No software or driver disc is bundled because the device operates natively once the SSD is seated and the system boots.
