This NGFF adapter extends a 22x30mm E-Key or A+E-Key wireless card to a 22x42mm slot. It accepts WIFI6 and WIFI7 cards and protects the card contacts during installation. The PCB ships without a wireless card included.

Pinout and Form-Factor Constraints

The adapter uses an E-key pinout only and will not function with B-key, M-key or A-key modules. It is also incompatible with mini-PCIe slots. The male-to-female layout bridges the 2230 card to a 2242 motherboard connector without altering the electrical interface.

E-Key Pinout Requirement

The single specification that determines compatibility is the E-key pinout on both the wireless card and the motherboard slot. If either side uses a different key ID the adapter cannot be used.
