PCIe 5.0 x8 adapter with 74-pin to dual 68-pin cables, 80cm length

Vszerda

Vszerda PCIe 5.0 x8 to 2 U.2 NVMe Adapter 74Pin to 2x 68Pin Cable 80cm

SKU CH-954Q-MDSTD

Connects two U.2 NVMe drives to a PCIe 5.0 x8 slot using an SFF-TA-1016 74Pin to 2x SFF-8639 68Pin cable with power

  • Expands storage with two U.2 NVMe slots from one PCIe 5.0 x8 interface
  • Meets SFF-TA-1016 74Pin to 2×SFF-8639 68Pin standard for broad device compatibility
  • Mini Cooledge IO cable delivers power and stable Gen5.0 data transfer
  • 80cm cable length fits tight server and workstation chassis
  • Compact form factor enables installation in space-constrained systems

PCIe 5.0 x8 to Dual U.2 NVMe Adapter

The Vszerda adapter converts a single PCIe 5.0 x8 slot into two U.2 NVMe ports. It uses a SFF-TA-1016 74Pin connector that splits to two SFF-8639 68Pin connectors. An 80cm Mini Cooledge IO cable with power is included for reliable operation in servers or workstations.

Suits builds needing two U.2 drives from one x8 slot

This suits installers adding a pair of U.2 NVMe SSDs to a platform with an MCIO x8 port. It is not for systems that lack a PCIe 5.0 x8 MCIO header, or for drives using other form factors or connectors. Buyers needing a different cable length or pin count should look elsewhere.

74Pin MCIO x8 to 2x 68Pin SFF-8639

The decisive spec is the SFF-TA-1016 74Pin to dual SFF-8639 68Pin interface with an 80cm cable. Match this exact pinout and length to your motherboard or backplane and U.2 drives before buying.

It plugs into a PCIe 5.0 x8 slot using a 74-pin MCIO connector.

Which cable ends attach to the U.2 drives and which end goes to the board?

Connect the single 74-pin end to the adapter board and the two 68-pin ends to the U.2 NVMe SSDs.

When should the 80 cm Mini Cooledge IO cable be replaced?

Replace it if the cable shows physical damage, the connectors become loose, or signal errors appear during heavy I/O.
