Two-pack RJ45 male to 8-pin screw terminal adapters accept AWG 28-16 wire for Cat5 to Cat7 UTP cable without soldering
This two-pack supplies male RJ45 8P8C plugs that convert to eight female screw terminals. Each unit measures 5.4 cm by 3.7 cm and is finished in black. The adapters accept solid or stranded conductors from AWG 28 to 16 and require only a screwdriver and wire stripper for termination. Installers can terminate UTP cables without soldering, saving time on site.
The terminals are wired to the EIA/TIA 568B standard for structured cabling. The supplier states the adapters are not recommended for actual Ethernet traffic, so sustained network loads are not a supported use case. They are intended for basic power or data distribution and for splitting pairs on Cat5, Cat6 or Cat7 cables. Continuous duty should be limited to low-voltage signalling or control circuits.
The single specification that determines fit is the fixed 568B pin-out on the RJ45 male connector. If the connected equipment expects a different wiring scheme, the adapter will not function correctly. Buyers who need a different pin assignment or who require certified Ethernet performance should select an alternative product.

The adapter is a passive wiring block with no active electronics, so it produces no heat or electrical noise of its own; any warmth would come only from the current flowing through the connected wires.
Only a small screwdriver and a wire stripper are required; the bolt screw shield terminals accept AWG 28-16 solid or stranded wire and need no soldering.
Yes — the plug follows the EIA/TIA 568B pinout and fits standard RJ45 jacks on Cat5, Cat6 or Cat7 equipment, making it compatible with legacy patch panels and video baluns.
