Vszerda SAS 6 SATA 7Pin 100cm SATA cable

SKU CH-ND13-H1EAR

Connects six SATA drives to a six-port controller at 6 Gbps over 100 cm

  • Connect six drives with one 100 cm cable
  • 6 Gbps SATA speed supports fast data transfer
  • SAS 6 host connector fits server RAID controllers
  • Six SATA 7-pin targets link multiple SSDs or HDDs
  • 12 Gbps-ready connectors prepare for next-generation SAS

SAS 6 SATA 7Pin cable for RAID arrays

This cable connects six SATA drives to a six-port SAS RAID controller using a single 100cm assembly. It is intended for server builders and storage administrators who need dense internal drive connectivity without multiple discrete cables.

Thermals noise and power draw

The passive copper construction adds no active cooling requirement and generates no audible noise during operation. Power delivery follows the SATA specification so drive spin-up current is handled by the host controller rather than the cable itself.

Bundled accessories and software impact

No additional brackets, screws or configuration utilities are included with the cable. The six-to-six layout reduces cable-count clutter inside the chassis but does not alter RAID firmware behaviour or drive enumeration order.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 6 SATA 7-pin host connector to my RAID controller?

Align the 6 SATA 7-pin host plug with the controller's matching port and press firmly until the latch clicks; the step often missed is securing all six device ends to each drive before routing the 100cm length.

Will the SATA 7-pin connectors need replacement after repeated drive swaps?

The SATA 7-pin connectors are rated for standard mating cycles; replace a cable if the latch no longer holds or if signal errors appear on any of the six channels.

At what throughput does the 6Gbps SATA specification limit sustained transfers on this cable?

The cable meets the 6Gbps SATA specification, so sustained throughput caps at that rate even though the connectors are designed for future 12Gb/s SAS operation.
