Converts a 15-pin SATA power plug into two 4-pin Molex sockets to power SATA drives from older supplies, 30 cm length, pure copper conductors
This 30 cm cable converts a single 15-pin SATA male connector into two 4-pin Molex female sockets. It lets a power supply that lacks native SATA outputs drive SATA hard drives or SSDs. The pack contains two identical adapters for multiple devices.
Each lead uses 18 AWG pure copper wire inside a red PVC jacket rated for standard 12 V and 5 V rails. The Y-splitter layout keeps cable routing tidy inside the chassis while maintaining secure friction-fit connections on both Molex ends.
The twin-pack lets builders add SATA power to a pair of drives without buying separate cables. No software or drivers are involved; the hardware simply passes through the existing Molex supply to the SATA devices.

The cable uses a standard 15-pin SATA power connector that delivers 12 V and 5 V rails to SATA hard drives and SSDs.
The cable is 30 cm long with a SATA male plug on one end and two Molex 4-pin female sockets on the other, so allow space for the splitter body and both drive connectors.
Connect the SATA male end to the drive, then plug each Molex female socket into a free 4-pin power lead from the PSU; the order of the two Molex plugs does not matter.
