Three-cable SATA III kit
This pack supplies three straight SATA III cables, each 15.75 inches long, for linking motherboards or host controllers to internal hard drives, SSDs or optical drives. The cables carry data only and do not deliver power to the connected devices. They are intended for desktop upgrades, repairs or RAID setups where multiple drives share a controller.
Locking latches and backward compatibility
Every connector ends in a locking latch that clicks into place, reducing the chance of accidental disconnection during case moves or vibration. The cables conform to SATA revision 3.0 for 6 Gbps signalling and remain compatible with SATA I and SATA II ports, so older hardware can still be used without adapter hassles. Actual throughput depends on the slowest device in the chain.
Six-drive headroom and limits
Three cables support up to three data devices simultaneously, which covers most dual-drive RAID 1 arrays plus a spare or a three-drive RAID 5 set. The fixed 15.75-inch length suits typical mid-tower routing but may fall short in full-tower builds or when drives sit behind long graphics cards. No power conductors are included, so each drive still needs its own SATA power lead from the PSU. Buyers needing longer runs, right-angle plugs or more than three cables will need a different kit.

Questions about this item
Will the locking latch wear out after repeated drive swaps?
The latch is moulded into each connector and rated for standard SATA insertion cycles; it does not have a separate replacement part.
What caps the transfer rate when the cable runs at full 6 Gbps?
The SATA Revision 3.0 link tops out at 6 Gbps, and the actual throughput cannot exceed the rating of the connected drive or controller.
Does the 15.75 inch length add noticeable resistance or heat inside a crowded case?
The short run adds negligible resistance, carries no power, and produces no measurable heat during continuous operation.
