Connects 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch IDE or SATA drives to USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps with included power adapter
The Vszerda Shuole 3xy adapter connects legacy IDE and current SATA storage to a USB 2.0 host. It supports 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch IDE hard disks with 44/43 or 40/39 pin interfaces. It also reads 5.25 inch IDE optical drives and 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch SATA hard disks and SSDs. The 480 Mbps USB 2.0 link is suited for data recovery, archiving or cloning older media.
Verify whether your drive uses a 44/43 pin 2.5 inch IDE, a 40/39 pin 3.5 inch IDE or a 7+15 pin SATA connector. The adapter draws bus power only for a 2.5 inch IDE hard disk; every other drive type requires the included external power supply. Ensure you have a free USB 2.0 port and a mains outlet for the power brick when connecting desktop drives or optical units.
The adapter body is a small plastic enclosure with clearly labelled IDE and SATA sockets on opposite edges. A barrel jack accepts the supplied power adapter for desktop and optical drives. Cables run straight from the sockets, so allow a few centimetres of clearance behind the connected drive. The USB 2.0 plug is fixed, keeping the link simple for occasional bench use.

The 2.5-inch SATA special cable is not included and must be purchased separately if you need to connect a 2.5-inch SATA drive.
It supports 2.5-inch IDE at 44/43 pins, 3.5-inch IDE at 40/39 pins, 5.25-inch IDE optical drives at 40/39 pins, and 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives using 7+15 pin connectors.
The 480Mbps figure is the USB 2.0 interface ceiling; real-world throughput will be lower and limited by the drive's own speed and the need for the external power adapter on most connections.
