Vszerda SSD Heatsink Aluminium Fin with Thermal Pad

SKU CH-D2BK-9YSB5

Aluminium fin heatsink with included thermal pad improves SSD cooling performance

  • Aluminium fin design draws heat away from the SSD
  • Thermal pad included fills gaps for better contact
  • Keeps drive temperatures lower during heavy workloads
  • Simple push-on fit needs no tools or screws

SSD heatsink for internal storage

This aluminium fin heatsink attaches to a solid-state drive or hard disk to draw heat away from the controller and memory. It ships with a thermal pad that fills the gap between the drive and the metal for consistent contact. The assembly suits desktop PCs where sustained write loads raise drive temperatures.

Mounts on standard drive form factors

The finned design adds surface area without requiring a fan or extra power cables, leaving motherboard headers free for other components. It fits single-sided and double-sided modules that match the drive’s native thickness. Builds with restricted airflow or stacked drives benefit most; systems already using active drive cooling gain less.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the aluminium fin array dissipate during a sustained write workload?

The finned aluminium body increases surface area to pull heat away from the SSD controller and NAND, while the included thermal pad fills gaps for better conduction.

Does the heatsink add audible noise or require extra power when the drive runs continuously?

It is a passive component with no fan or moving parts, so it produces zero noise and draws no power.
