Vszerda UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 20FT

This Vszerda UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet cable measures 20FT and uses RJ45 connectors. It is built for users who need a shielded, high-bandwidth wired link for gaming consoles, PCs, routers or PoE devices. The cotton braided jacket and gold-plated contacts are made for repeated handling and long-term indoor use.

Suits gamers and streamers wanting 40 Gbps 2000

Buyers who need runs longer than 20FT or outdoor-rated jackets should look elsewhere. The PoE function is not supported on the 65FT length, so installers planning that specific distance must choose a different option. Anyone requiring non-shielded or lighter cabling will find this construction too robust.

40 Gbps 2000 MHz Cat 8 rating

This single bandwidth figure decides if the cable can carry the throughput your router, switch or server port demands. If your network equipment operates at 10 Gbps or below, the extra margin goes unused. Match the cable class to the port speed you actually run.

Questions about this item

What does the 40 Gbps rating actually deliver when the cable is plugged into my router?

The cable supports up to 40 Gbps data transfer and 2000 MHz bandwidth, so real-world speed will match the highest rate your router, network card and switch can negotiate — up to that 40 Gbps ceiling.

Which standard does the RJ45 connector follow and what speed does that standard cap at?

The RJ45 plugs are built to the Cat 8 40GBASE-T specification, which caps at 40 Gbps over the 20 ft length.

How much clearance do the braided jacket and connectors need behind a desk or rack?

The cotton-braided jacket adds minimal bulk and the RJ45 plugs are standard width, so the cable fits in typical 20 mm cable-management channels and behind equipment with only a few centimetres of depth.
