70-Degree Wide Reflector for Bowens Mount
The Westcott 70-Degree Wide Reflector is a metal light modifier built for Bowens S-type mount strobes. It produces a controlled 70-degree beam with minimal fall-off and a defined edge. The bundle includes snap-in 30° and 60° honeycomb grids for tighter directional control. It suits photographers and videographers who need precise spill control on mid-range projects.
Snap-in grids install in seconds
The reflector slides onto any Bowens S-type mount and locks securely. Each honeycomb grid presses into the reflector face and stays in place without tools. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the grid fully, which lets stray light leak past the cells. Metal construction handles frequent swaps without bending or thread wear.
Confirm Bowens S-type mount on your strobe
This modifier fits Westcott FJ800, FJ400, FJ400 II, FJ400-SE, FJ250 units and any other Bowens S-type light. It will not mount on proprietary bayonets or non-Bowens adapters. Check your strobe’s mount type before ordering; no adapter is included. The 70-degree spread works best when you have enough working distance to let the beam develop.

Questions about this item
How do I verify the 70-degree reflector is producing the intended beam spread after mounting it on my Bowens-mount strobe?
Aim the fitted reflector at a flat surface; the light should form an even circle with a crisp edge at roughly 70 degrees, and fall-off should be minimal across the beam.
Which accessories are included in the box and what must I supply myself?
The package contains the all-metal 70-degree wide reflector plus snap-in 30° and 60° honeycomb grids; you provide any Bowens S-type mount strobe such as the FJ250, FJ400, FJ400 II, FJ400-SE or FJ800.
When should I choose the 30° grid versus the 60° grid for a given shoot?
Use the 30° grid when you need a tight, high-contrast spot with maximum spill control; switch to the 60° grid for a wider yet still directed pool of light that covers more of the subject.
