Envelope Size and Quantity

These #10 envelopes measure 4.125 by 9.5 inches and come in a box of 500. They suit daily office mailing for invoices, statements and direct-mail pieces. The standard dimensions fit most folding machines and postage meters.

Cellophane Window Placement

A cellophane window measuring 1-1/8 by 4-3/4 inches sits 3/4 inch from the left edge and 1/2 inch from the bottom. This layout shows a recipient address printed on the letter inside, removing the need for separate address labels. The diagonal seam construction keeps the envelope flat during automatic insertion.

Paper Finish and Limitations

Bright White sulphite stock with 96% brightness and a vellum finish gives a clean, professional appearance. The paper is acid free and SFI certified for archival quality. A remoistening seal closes the flap securely. These envelopes are not laser compatible, so buyers needing laser printing should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

Will the cellophane window melt or stick if I run these through a laser printer all day?

These envelopes are marked not laser compatible, so toner heat can melt the cellophane window and cause jams.

How much heat and noise does the remoistening seal add during a full-day mailing run?

The seal activates only when moistened; it adds no heat, noise or power draw.

What printer or inserter must I already own to feed 4.125 x 9.5 envelopes without misfeeds?

Any desktop printer or inserter that accepts #10 size and diagonal-seam construction will feed them.
