SKU CH-2GD8-QT7C6

Ivory pastel recycled envelopes with vellum finish, acid-free paper and diagonal seam, box of 500

  • Ivory pastel colour suits professional correspondence
  • Recycled sulphite paper reduces environmental impact
  • Acid-free stock preserves documents over time
  • Diagonal seam construction adds strength
  • Vellum finish gives a smooth writing surface

Standard Business Envelope

The #9 regular envelope measures 3.875 x 8.875 inches and fits standard letter paper folded into thirds. It suits offices and mailrooms that send invoices, statements or correspondence in bulk. The ivory pastel sulphite stock gives a professional appearance for everyday mailing needs.

Recycled Paper Constraints

The 24 lb recycled sulphite paper has a vellum finish and is acid free for archival safety. Remoistening seal adhesive requires moisture to activate and may lose tack in very dry or humid storage conditions. No window is present, so address visibility requires printing or labelling directly on the face.

Simple Manual Sealing

Each box contains 500 envelopes and weighs 6.5 lbs for easy shelf handling. Diagonal seam construction allows smooth insertion by hand or with a basic folder inserter. The flap-down format works without special equipment, though high-speed inserting machines may need adjustment for the recycled fibre stiffness.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the box of 500 or the carton of 2500 envelopes?

The box contains 500 envelopes and weighs 6.5 lbs; the carton holds 2500 envelopes for larger mailings.

What does the 24 lb paper weight mean for everyday mailing?

At 24 lb the sulphite stock feels substantial, resists tearing in automated feeders and keeps contents private without extra inserts.

How does the remoistening seal work with standard office equipment?

The diagonal-seam flap uses a traditional remoistening gum that activates with a moistener or tongue and feeds cleanly through most desktop inserters.
