Envelope Size and Quantity

This open-end catalog envelope measures 5.5 by 7.5 inches and ships in a box of 500 units. The center-seam construction uses 24-pound White Kraft paper with an 84 brightness rating and a vellum finish. A remoistening seal closes the flap for secure mailing.

SFI Certification and Vellum Finish

The SFI-certified paper confirms responsible forest sourcing for environmentally conscious buyers. The vellum finish provides a smooth, toothier surface that accepts handwriting, stamps and labels without feathering or smudging. These material choices suit professional correspondence and archival storage needs.

Remoistening Seal Closure

The flap-down design relies on a traditional remoistening adhesive that activates with moisture to form a permanent bond. This closure method requires no tape, peel-strip or press-seal mechanism, keeping the process simple for high-volume stuffing. Buyers needing self-seal or tamper-evident options should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 24# White Kraft paper need any special storage to stay usable?

Store the box flat in a dry area; the SFI certified 84 brightness vellum finish resists yellowing and keeps the remoistening seal ready for months.

How many envelopes from the 500 count box can I run through a high-volume mailer before the center seam starts to catch?

The center seam construction is designed for continuous feeding; the 500 envelope box supports a full day of machine inserting without seam misfeeds.

Does the 5.5 x 7.5 inch open end catalog envelope generate noticeable dust or static when fed all day?

The vellum finish on the 24# White Kraft stock produces minimal paper dust and low static, keeping feed rollers clean during extended mailing runs.
