Envelopes for bulk mailing

These open-end catalog envelopes measure 9 by 12 inches and come in a box of 500. They are made from 28-pound white sulphite paper with a vellum finish. The centre-seam construction and remoistening seal suit high-volume shipping and filing tasks. SFI certification confirms responsible fibre sourcing.

Handling sustained throughput

The 28-pound stock resists tearing when packed with multi-page documents or catalogues. A centre seam distributes stress evenly across the envelope during automated insertion. Vellum finish reduces static and feeding jams in high-speed inserters. The box weight of 22 pounds keeps pallet loads manageable for warehouse crews.

Storage and everyday use

White sulphite rated at 92% brightness stays legible under office lighting without glare. Flat-packed boxes stack cleanly on shelving and require no special climate control. Remoistening adhesive activates with standard mailroom equipment. No window means full-surface printing for addresses or branding.

Questions about this item

Will the 28 lb paper weight and vellum finish jam in a high-volume laser printer running all day?

The 28# sulphite stock with vellum finish is rated for standard office equipment; continuous high-volume laser use may increase heat buildup, so test a small batch first.

Does the remoistening seal need a moistener or can I seal 500 envelopes by hand without extra tools?

The remoistening seal activates with water; a desktop moistener speeds the job, but a damp sponge works for hand-sealing the full box of 500.

Can I feed these 9 x 12 center-seam envelopes through an older fax machine that only accepts top-flap styles?

The center seam and open-end design differ from top-flap formats; older fax feed rollers may misfeed or wrinkle the envelope, so test a few sheets first.
