Product Identity

These open-end catalog envelopes measure 5.5 by 8.25 inches and use 28 lb tan Kraft paper with a vellum finish. A centre-seam construction and remoistening seal suit offices that mail flat documents, catalogues or invoices in volume. Each box contains 500 envelopes.

Thermals Noise Power

Paper envelopes generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power during handling or storage. The 9.5 lb box weight reflects the paper mass alone and has no thermal or acoustic impact on the workspace.

Build And Daily Use

SFI-certified Kraft stock with a vellum surface resists tearing during automated inserting and hand sealing. The centre seam distributes stress evenly across the flap, while the open-end format allows quick loading of bulky contents. No window means address labels or direct printing are required for every shipment.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the remoistening flap on the 5.5 x 8.25 envelopes without it sticking early?

Moisten only the gummed strip on the flap, press firmly for a few seconds, and keep unused envelopes in the closed box away from humidity to prevent premature sealing.

When will the 28 lb kraft paper need replacing if I mail heavy catalogs daily?

The 28 lb stock resists tearing for typical catalog loads; replace the box once the 500-count supply runs low rather than due to paper wear.

What is the first limit I hit when stuffing many catalogs into these center-seam envelopes?

The center seam and 5.5 x 8.25 dimensions limit bulk; overstuffing stresses the seam before the 28 lb paper fails.
