Product Identity

The Western States #5 regular envelope measures 3.125 by 5.5 inches and uses 20# white sulphite paper with a vellum finish. It is suited for everyday correspondence, invoices or direct-mail pieces that require a clean, professional appearance. The diagonal seam construction and remoistening seal provide reliable closure without a window.

Thermals Noise Power

As a paper-based office supply, the envelopes generate no heat, produce no audible noise and draw no electrical power during storage or handling. They remain inert in standard indoor environments and require no active cooling or energy source to maintain their condition.

Deciding Specification

The box contains 500 envelopes, delivering a practical quantity for moderate-volume mailing tasks. Buyers who need a larger single-package count or a different paper weight will need to source an alternative SKU.

Questions about this item

How do you seal the diagonal-seam envelope with the remoistening seal?

Moisten the flap adhesive evenly, press firmly along the diagonal seam, and hold for a few seconds to ensure a secure bond.

Will the 92% brightness white sulphite paper yellow or degrade over time in storage?

The SFI-certified sulphite stock resists yellowing; keep the box sealed in a cool, dry place to maintain brightness.

At what point does the 20# paper weight limit how many sheets can be mailed without extra postage?

A single folded letter fits comfortably; multiple pages may push the envelope over the standard letter rate.
