Coin Envelope Size and Purpose

These open-end coin envelopes measure 2.875 by 5.25 inches and come in a box of 500. They are made from 24-pound tan and brown kraft paper with a vellum finish. The center-seam construction and remoistening seal suit everyday filing and mailing tasks.

Best Fit for Light Filing and Mailing

The envelopes work well for anyone organising coins, stamps, receipts or small parts in an office or classroom. Buyers who need a window for address visibility or a heavier stock for bulky items should look at something else. The open-end flap also means they are not suited for automatic insertion equipment.

Simple Hand Sealing with Standard Moisture

Each envelope uses a traditional remoistening seal that activates with a dampener or tongue. No tools or adhesives are required for assembly. The main issue users report is that the light 24-pound paper can tear if overstuffed or handled roughly during sealing.
