  • Center seam construction keeps contents aligned
  • 500 envelopes per box supplies high-volume mailings

9 x 12 catalog envelope

These 9 x 12 open-end envelopes are designed for mailing catalogues, reports and flat documents that must not be folded. The self-sealing latex flap closes without moisture, speeding up high-volume dispatch tasks.

500-count box capacity

A single carton contains 500 envelopes weighing 22 lbs, providing ample stock for regular bulk mailings. The 28 lb kraft construction handles typical multi-page inserts, though very heavy or rigid contents may stress the centre seam.

Self-seal latex limitation

The Pres-Stik latex adhesive activates on contact and forms a permanent bond, but it cannot be reapplied once sealed. Extended flaps improve closure security, yet the open-end format offers no tamper-evident feature beyond the initial seal.

Questions about this item

Will these 9" x 12" self-seal envelopes run through an older desktop folder-insert machine without jamming?

The center-seam construction and 28# kraft stock are compatible with most tabletop inserters; the extended flap and latex adhesive stay flat so the machine's feed rollers can grip each envelope cleanly.

How can I confirm the Pres-Stik latex seal is activating properly after I press the flap down?

Press the flap firmly for three seconds; the latex bonds on contact so the seam will not reopen when you tug the corners, and the SFI-certified kraft shows no fibre tear when peeled.

Does the box of 500 include any moisture-barrier liners or do I need to buy them separately?

The carton contains only the 500 self-seal envelopes weighing 22 lbs total; no inner liners, desiccant packs or outer poly bags are supplied.
