Bank Deposit Envelope Dimensions

The WESTERN STATES #DV-32 is a white sulphite envelope sized at 3.5" x 7" designed for bank deposits and secure document handling. It suits tellers, offices and anyone needing a reliable open-side format for daily transactions. The vellum finish provides a professional feel for routine filing and mailing.

SFI Certified 24# Paper Weight

The single specification that decides suitability is the 24# white sulphite stock carrying SFI certification. This basis weight determines opacity and stiffness for cheque protection. Buyers who need a lighter or heavier grade for different postage brackets should verify their requirements before ordering.

Sustained Filing Performance

Under continuous daily use the side-seam construction resists splitting when envelopes are packed tightly in drawers or transport bags. The ungummed flap stays flat without adhesive buildup on rollers or fingers during high-volume stuffing. It is not for users who require a self-sealing closure or a window for address visibility.

Questions about this item

What does the 24# paper weight mean for everyday bank deposits?

The 24# sulphite stock is thick enough to handle coins and folded cash without tearing, yet light enough to feed smoothly through counter sorters.

How does the ungummed flap work with standard deposit procedures?

The flap stays down without adhesive so tellers can open each envelope quickly; you simply fold and tuck it before handing it over.

Will the 3.5" x 7" open-side format fit in a typical bank drop box?

Yes, the open-side dimensions match common drop-box slots and the side-seam construction keeps the envelope flat for easy insertion.
