Tyvek envelopes for catalog mailing

These open-end envelopes measure nine by twelve inches and use 14-pound spun-bonded olefin for moisture and burst resistance. A smooth bright-white finish suits professional catalogs and documents. The peel-and-seal closure removes the need for moistening. Each box contains one hundred envelopes.

Upgrade from paper or window mailers

The Tyvek material replaces standard paper envelopes that tear or absorb water during transit. The jump is worth it when shipments face rough handling or outdoor exposure. Windowless design prevents address visibility if the flap shifts. Center-seam construction adds strength for heavier inserts.

Limits of peel-and-seal adhesive

The Kwik-Tak strip bonds securely once pressed but cannot be resealed after opening. Extreme heat or prolonged humidity may degrade adhesive performance over time. Envelopes are not padded, so fragile items need separate protection. Bulk cartons hold five hundred units for high-volume operations.

Questions about this item

Will the 9 by 12 inch open-end opening accept documents without folding?

Yes, the envelope measures 9 by 12 inches with an open-end design, so flat sheets of that size slide in directly.

How does the peel-and-seal closure work, and what is the common mistake?

Remove the protective liner from the Kwik-Tak flap, press firmly along the entire center seam; the frequent error is leaving the liner on or pressing only the corners.

What causes these envelopes to need replacement during storage or use?

The 14 lb Tyvek material resists water and bursting, but the peel-and-seal adhesive can lose tack if boxes are stored in high heat or humidity, requiring a new box.
