28 lb SFI Certified Vellum Finish

The 28 pound paper weight delivers a substantial feel that protects contents during transit and resists tearing. SFI certification confirms the fibre comes from responsibly managed forests. A 92 percent brightness level and vellum finish produce a clean, professional appearance for business correspondence.

Durable Construction for Bulk Processing

Side seam construction distributes stress evenly across the envelope, reducing the risk of splits when machines insert thick document sets. The flap-down layout feeds smoothly through high-speed inserters and laser printers without jamming. Each 27 pound carton holds 500 envelopes for efficient inventory management.

Questions about this item

How large a document fits inside the 10 x 13 inch open side opening?

The envelope accepts flat sheets up to 10 by 13 inches; the open side design lets you slide pages in from the long edge without folding.

What does the 28 lb paper weight mean for mailing durability?

At 28 lb the sulphite stock is stiff enough to protect contents in transit yet light enough to keep postage costs low for standard letters.

How much clearance do the side seams and Kwik-Tak flap need in a storage box?

Side seams sit flat under the envelope body and the pressure sensitive flap seals without moisture, so 500 envelopes stack neatly in a standard 10 x 13 inch carton.
