Dual-Purpose Mailer Envelopes

These open-side envelopes measure 4.25 x 6.5 inches and are made from 24 lb canary pastel sulphite paper. They are designed for general office mailing and filing tasks that require a coloured, acid-free stock. The vellum finish provides a smooth surface for writing or printing.

Spot Seal and Perforated Flap

Each envelope features a large extended flap with a spot remoistening seal for secure closure without adhesive strips. A perforation on the flap allows the recipient to tear it open cleanly and reuse the envelope for a reply. The side-seam construction keeps the front panel flat for addressing.

Ready to Use From the Box

The envelopes arrive packed 500 to a box and require no assembly before loading into a printer or hand-addressing. Moistening the spot seal correctly ensures a firm bond; insufficient moisture is the most common reason for a flap that reopens in transit. They are not suited for buyers who need a window panel or a heavier card stock.

Questions about this item

How long does the spot remoistening seal on the large flap remain usable before it needs replacing?

The remoistening seal activates with moisture each time you close the envelope, so there is no separate replacement schedule for the adhesive itself.

When mailing at high volume, does the 24# sulphite paper or the spot seal become the limiting factor first?

The 24# recycled sulphite stock handles automated inserting equipment without jamming, and the spot seal activates reliably on each piece, so neither component typically bottlenecks a 500-envelope run.

Do the canary pastel envelopes curl or generate static heat when run continuously through a folder-inserter all day?

The vellum-finish sulphite paper resists curling and static buildup, staying flat through extended folder-inserter cycles without extra heat concerns.
