Manual grease gun for tight fittings

This Westward 15F196 grease gun uses a pistol-grip handle to deliver lubricant through an 18 in flex hose. It accepts standard 14 oz cartridges or up to 16 oz of bulk grease. The tool suits maintenance crews who need to reach fittings with limited access in automotive and industrial settings.

Verify cartridge size and pressure rating

Confirm your grease cartridges match the 14 1/2 oz capacity or that bulk fill does not exceed 16 oz. The gun develops up to 6,000 psi, so ensure fittings and seals are rated for that pressure. Check that the 56 strokes per ounce rate fits your workflow before ordering.

Consistent delivery under sustained use

The full-stroke mechanism displaces a fixed volume per stroke, maintaining steady output during extended greasing sessions. Steel tube construction resists deformation when the tool is cycled repeatedly at high pressure. The flex hose retains routing flexibility without kinking, keeping flow stable across long jobs.

Questions about this item

Does the Westward 15F196 come with a grease cartridge or must one be purchased separately?

The gun loads standard 14 1/2 oz cartridges or 16 oz bulk grease; neither is included in the box.

Should I choose the 14 1/2 oz cartridge or the 16 oz bulk fill for this model?

Both capacities fit the same tube; cartridges are cleaner for occasional use while bulk fill suits high-volume jobs.

What does the 6,000 psi rating mean when I am greasing a tight fitting?

It delivers up to 6,000 psi through the 18 in flex hose, forcing grease into restricted fittings with each full stroke.
