Home strip-cut shredder

The WHOOSH! 1131 is a compact strip-cut shredder designed for home and personal office use. It plugs into a standard outlet and fits on or under a desk, providing a straightforward way to destroy confidential documents, credit cards and CDs without removing staples or paper clips. Its 12-litre pull-out bin has a transparent window so you can see when it needs emptying.

Suited for light daily use

This model suits individuals or households that shred up to ten sheets at a time in short sessions. The five-minute continuous run time followed by a mandatory 30-minute cool-down makes it unsuitable for high-volume or back-to-back shredding tasks. Buyers who need longer run times, higher sheet capacities or cross-cut particle sizes should consider other options.

Ten-sheet strip-cut capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the ten-sheet strip-cut rating combined with the P-2 security level. It defines how much paper you can feed per pass and the strip dimensions produced, which directly affects both throughput and the level of document reconstruction risk.
