Wiegmann B100806CH NEMA 12 13 10.0x8.0x6.0in Wall Mount line protection

Wall-Mount Enclosure for Industrial Protection

The Wiegmann B100806CH is a carbon-steel enclosure rated NEMA 12 and 13 for indoor protection against dust, dirt and non-corrosive liquids. It measures 10.0 in high, 8.0 in wide and 6.0 in deep with a usable opening depth of 5.88 in. A neoprene gasket and screw-down clamps seal the hinged solid cover, while external mounting plates simplify wall installation. The ANSI 61 polyester powder finish in gray resists corrosion in harsh environments.

NEMA 12 and 13 Rating Limits

NEMA 12 and 13 ratings cover protection from circulating dust, falling dirt and dripping or light splashing of non-corrosive liquids. They do not protect against corrosion, hose-directed water, oil submersion or hazardous locations. The carbon-steel construction with polyester powder coating suits general industrial indoor use but is not rated for outdoor exposure, wash-down areas or environments with corrosive agents. Installers must verify the rating matches the specific site conditions before deployment.

Replaces Open or Lower-Rated Boxes

This enclosure replaces open-frame junction boxes or lower-rated cabinets that lack a gasketed seal and secure clamping. The jump is worthwhile when equipment requires protection from airborne contaminants and incidental liquid contact in indoor settings. It is not suited for applications needing NEMA 4X corrosion resistance, NEMA 7 hazardous-location approval or outdoor weatherproofing. Buyers needing larger internal volume, different mounting styles or higher ingress protection should select an alternative series.
