Wiegmann RHC080804 Steel Enclosure

This Wiegmann RHC080804 is a carbon steel enclosure built for wall mounting in industrial or outdoor locations. The padlockable hasp closure and ANSI 61 powder coat finish suit installers who need secure, weather-resistant housing for circuit breakers or line protection devices.

NEMA 3R Rating Limits

The NEMA 3R rating provides protection against falling rain, sleet and external ice formation but does not guard against windblown dust, hose-directed water or submersion. Usable opening depth is 3.88 in, so internal components must fit within that space behind the solid hinged cover.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify the 16 ga steel thickness meets your structural requirements and that the external mounting plates align with your wall structure. Confirm the interior panel 6C754 matches your component layout and that CSA, cULus and UL listings satisfy local code before ordering.
